We start this week with point 3 in turning our trials to triumphs. To turn trials to triumphs, we must have a surrendered will and let God have his way with us. It's a task easier said than done but worth it in the end!!
So, apparently, I'm not getting shorter but longer with my videos. I guess the more comfortable I get the more I talk, or maybe it's just nervous rambling....I hope that isn't the case.
If your interested in getting on the email list for the study guide I put together for each week post your email in the comments section. I'm praying for all of you as we grow mature in our faith. May we let God do a good work in us for HIS glory!!
I'm not sure why the video wouldn't load today, so I posted it to YouTube instead. Here's the link....http://youtu.be/_DliYDvi0Rk

ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to the next video I have been listening to James over and over and it has really been good for me. A couple of weeks ago or so, Jordy and I were having a discussion that sparked from a blog I read on Ed Stezer's blog "Thursday is for Thinkers" the guest post was by Jen Hatmaker (my absolute favorite author, you should definitely check her out) and in the comments section a debate sprang up about social justice and whether or not Christians should have a part in it or if they should only preach the gospel. Then I began listening to James and I really feel that he is clear that if we do nothing physically for those outside our church doors then our words are meaningless. So anyway, that's what I am getting from James so far is that I need to get out of my Christian bubble and start serving the lost. Can't wait till you update and give some of your insight.
